The gem offered here is a nice clean and bright 3.61ct Very Light Blue Sapphire, Certified by GIA as 100% untreated. It is almost round but ended up as an oval on the GIA report because of an approx 1mm variation in the stones diameter when measured at 12 and 6 oclock versus 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. The stone is believed to be of Montana, USA origin. It is a bright, fiery and cleaner than most transparent stone that despite its deep cut will look superb when mounted in jewelry.
